Hello everybody! It’s time for my summer update.
I super appreciated this review from Austenesque Reviews on my book, “From London with Loyalty“! Meredith wrote in part, “And speaking of our wealthy and privileged heirs, there is one that gets redeemed and I absolutely loved this. We spent a lot of time in [Tom Bertram’s] head and his evolution to improve, be more responsible, and do right by others was wonderful to witness. I found the journey very plausible. I liked the thoughtfulness behind this character’s actions – he isn’t a saint, he didn’t do a complete 180, he denies that he is anything good and worthy. He is simply a man who has had his eyes opened and is now trying to take more responsibility. And that includes thinking of others and speaking out against anything he thinks is wrong. I very much admired this character and his development. Very well done!”

I just got back from the RealmMakers Conference & Expo in Grand Rapids, MI. It was great fun to meet other Christian authors of fantasy and science fiction. I also pitched my 4th Crusade, Constantinople romantasy manuscript to a publisher. I don’t know if it’ll happen with them, but it was a great push to get it finished up. Almost 130k words–that book just didn’t want to stop!

And last but not least, my next Sweet Regency Romance book is on the way! Muslin & Mystery will follow Anne Elliot and Captain Wentworth, as well as Caroline Bingley and Colonel Fitzwilliam. All four of them are going to Istanbul and mystery is afoot on their small packet ship as it navigates treacherous waters, French frigates, and unexpected romance. 🙂 It can be preordered here.
